FASHIONGUIDE: Outfit
We all know this fashion struggle: What outfit do i wear to a professional or strict appointment without looking boring or less fashionable?
Well your prayers have been heard. I gave a little thought into it and here is what i came up with, because the more confident you look the better your appointment will be and who doesn't feel good when they know their outfit is on point and suits the appointment perfectly?
What do i mean with professional or strict events:
A job interview, first time meeting your new boyfriend's parents/grandmother..., a company dinner, a speech, a funeral, etc.
The ulitmative fashion guide to rock your outfit and professional appointment appropriately:
1. Outfitrule: Cover all areas of your body
If you go to a professional meeting, it doesn't matter where, the number one rule is you do not want to look the slightliest slutty or unprofessional at any expense. So take my advice and do not show your boobs, butt or too much leg. The generall rule also includes skin, it doesn't matter on which part of your body.
My personal solution:
Longdress + pullover + tights + coat = everything covered
2. Outfitrule: Black is always a good idea
For your color scheme. You can choose one bright color, but keep it at bay with adding neutral colors to it. So if you like canary yellow so much you can't live without it, make sure to choose your other outfit maybe in grey or beige. I do really love black, because it's timeless and you can never go wrong with it. Plus it makes you slim.
3. Outfitrule: Shoes ARE important
For us #fashionistas, shoes are always important (of course). But do keep in mind. Chucks you have worn for what it feels like eternity or your german trakking sandals are not a good choice. Number one rule, they have to be clean and they should not have any holes. Other than that, Loafers, Heels (not too high) Ballerinas or Ankleboots (what i did here) are totally ok for woman. For men, try to dismiss sneakers guys, a good pair of dress shoes goes a long way (and with girls always).
4. Outfitrule: Hair and Make-up
Just don't overdo it. Simple as that. I really like a simple updo. It stays in place and i do not have to stress about my hair. For Make-up i just use a good foundation, because flawless skin is important and makes a huge difference. Then i do my eyebrows and use a little mascara. A little rouge on the cheeks for the extra glow and a nude lipstick. Done.
5. Outfitrule: A little something EXTRA
This could be anything. If you feel more confident with your red lipstick, put it on. Just look that it doesn't clash with any other color you are wearing. If you love your pearl earrings or another kind of jewelry, put it on. (but leave the big gold necklaces at home, girls) Another thing what can make you feel sexy and confident is sexy underwear. Nobody sees it but you feel it.
I did it with my material mix. That gave my outfit my personal little something.

Wir alle kennen das: Welches Outfit ziehe ich zu einem professionellen oder strikten Termin an?
Genau über diese allseitsbekannte Frage habe ich mir ein paar Gedanken gemacht und hier ist was dabei rausgekommen ist. Denn jeder weiß, je selbstbewusster du dich fühlst desto besser wird dein Termin verlaufen. Und wer fühlt sich nicht gut wenn das Outfit Bombe und genau auf den Termin abgestimmt ist?
Was genau meine ich mit professionellen oder strikten Terminen: Ein Bewerbungsgespräch, das erste Abendessen bei den Schwiegereltern/Schwiegeroma..., ein Geschäftsessen, ein Vortrag, eine Beerdigung, usw.
Hier also, der ultimative Ratgeber wie du mit deinem Outfit beeindurckst und damit deinen professionellen Termin rockst:
1. Outfitregel: Bedecke jedes Körperteil
Du willst bei deinem professionellen Termin auf keinen Fall den Eindruck von Unprofessionalität erwecken, noch willst du anstößig aussehen. Deshalb bedecke auf jeden Fall deine Brüste, deinen Hintern oder deine Beine. Zeige nicht zu viel Haut (ja, egal wo.) Das wirkt auf jeden Fall unprofessionell.
Meine persönliche Lösung hier:
Longdress + Pullover + Strumpfhosen + Mantel = alles abgedeckt
2. Outfitregel: Schwarz ist immer eine gute Idee
Das Farbschema eures Outfits kann gerne eine Knallfarbe enthalten, aber dann müsst Ihr einen Kontrast mit neutralen Farben setzten. Wenn Ihr also nicht ohne diese kanariengelbe Bluse leben könnt,dann wählt den Rest eures Outfits in beige oder grau. Ich persönlich präferiere schwarz, weil es immer elegant aussieht und zu allem passt. Plus, es schummelt eine tolle Silhoutte.
3. Outfitregel: Schuhe SIND wichtig
Natürlich für uns #fashionistas sind Schuhe immer wichtig. Aber zum professionellen Termin müssen eure geliebten Chucks, die Ihr gefühlt schon ein Leben lang tragt, zuhause bleiben und auch unsere allseitsgeliebten deutschen Trekkingsandalen. Die Nummer 1 Regel ist eigentlich alles ist ok solange es sauber und keine Löcher hat und annehmlich aussieht. Super für Frauen sind: Loafers, Hohe Schuhe (nicht zu hoch!), Ballerinas oder Stiefeletten (dafür habe ich mich entschieden). Und für die Herren, bitte keine Sneakers sondern Anzugschuhe (darauf stehen auch die Ladies).
4. Outfitregel: Haare und Make-up
Ganz einfach: Weniger ist mehr! Bei solchen Anlässen mag ich einen Dutt sehr gerne. So bleibt alles wo es sein soll und ich muss keine Gedanken an meine Haare verschwenden, plus es sieht immer adrett und gepflegt aus.
Für mein Make-up setze ich auf Natürlichkeit. Wichtig ist mir immer eine ebenmäßige Haut, also benutze ich CC-Cream (da Make-up nicht so meins ist). Dann konturiere ich meine Augenbrauen und benutzte ein bisschen Mascara. Ein bisschen Rouge auf die wangen und einen nudefarbenen Lippenstift. Fertig.
5. Outfitregel: Das gewisse Extra
Das könnte theoretisch alles sein. Was immer euch den extra Kick Selbstbewusstsein gibt. Entweder ein roten Lippenstift (falls dieser sich nicht beißt mit eurem restlichen Outfit), filigraner Schmuck (lasst die dicke Goldkette zuhause, Ladies), oder einfach nur sexy Unterwäsche. Bei meinem Outfit war das für mich der Materialmix.
