TRENDREPORT: BIKE SHORTS & 5 WAYS TO WEAR THEM

Hey Loves, 

After my break from my blog ( i worked three shifts in a production factory and my still ongoing job search (wish me luck)) i finally have the time, the energy and more importantly the inspiration to fill my blog with content again! 

And since i am myself not quiet sure how to handle this trend i thought i do a little research on                                            how to style BIKE SHORTS. 

Since Kim K herself brought this trend of the 80s back, Instagram is overflowing with different adaptions. I composed some of my favorite looks here for you.

As a resume i have to pick the blazer combination as my favorite because i love how the sporty goes with something classic, but that is just me! 

Anyway i am not sure i can rock this look because my legs are nowhere near that skinny and long!

SHOPPING GUIDE: TREND CHOKER

CHOKER - to choke (so/sth), choked, choked

That's what i imagined when i heard this word the first time. But when i dailed it in leo.org and it was defined on the first place as a necklace (yes, really!) So fashion comes a long way, obviously. 

I have to admit, that when i was a teenager, i had a choker. But during this time EVERYONE had one, and when you are a teenager, you do what everyone does. So i was not aware of what i was wearing or chose what to wear. Now i learned that what i wore is called a "tattoo choker". I had a necklace, a bracelet even a ring made of this plastic.

Who else had one like this? 

I have to say i do not necessary like those models. But as i saw other ones, for example the simple black velvet one, or more edgy and fancy ones, i really have to say - WOW! 

Some of my friends say they are too provocative and look like bondage. But i say what the hell they are different, they are edgy a little bit grunge - i love it! 

I dare you, ladies! If you love it, wear it!

Das ist was mir als erstes in den Sinn kam als ich das Wort zum ersten mal gehört habe. Als nächstes habe ich es in meine go-to app für englisch leo.org eingetippt. Und auf dem ersten Platz war es als Kette definiert (ja, ernsthaft!). Also kann man dazu wirklich sagen, Mode kommt nicht von irgendwoher. 

Ich muss aber auch zugeben, als ich ein Teenager war hatte ich auch einen Choker. Ich war mir damals noch gar nicht bewusst, dass es ein Choker war, ich wusste nur, jeder hatte so eine Kette also musste ich auch eine haben. Denn das ist was du tust, wenn du ein Teenager bist, du bist ein Fashion-Mitläufer. 

Jetzt habe ich gelernt, dass man das einen "Tattoo Choker" nennt und ich besaß eine Kette, ein Armand und sogar einen Ring aus diesem Plastik, man war ich cool! 

Und jetzt Hand aufs Herz, wer hatte auch so ein Ding? 

Leider muss ich zugeben, dass ich dieses Model nicht wirklich mag. Aber als ich andere Modelle sah, zum Beispiel das schwarze Band aus Satin, oder auch andere mehr ausgefallenere Modelle - muss ich sagen - WOW!

Viele meiner Freunde sagen, dass ist ihnen zu provokativ und es erinnere sie an Bondage. Aber ganz ehrlich, es ist anders, es ist edgy ein bisschen grunge - ich liebe es!

THE STRIPED SHIRT - LE FRENCH CHIC

Hey Guys, so another week has past and here is my first outfitpost from france! I wanted it to be typical french, so i chose a striped shirt. People say every french woman has a striped shirt in their closet. It is traditional, sophisticated and just the french chic. You can propably combine and wear it with everything and somehow you have that certain "je ne sais quoi". Just typical french and chic. J'adore! But i wanted it to be a little up to date so i picked a crop top. I paired it with this amazing jeans skirt, which i found at Pull & Bear! I am in love with this shop! In my hometown in Germany i do not have this shop, but i guess you're going to see a lot more pieces from there in my upcoming posts. :) I put my white beloved sneakers from Bershka on and my sunglasses by Vogue eyewear. This beauty of a clutch/bag was found at a fleamarket in germany. And another thing typically french thing - i did a bun. But i think somehow it is a rumor that every french woman is wearing a bun. I haven't seen that much just yet. But maybe it's a Paris thing? 

Basicly what i wanted to give you guys is a giving you an everyday look with a little bit french. I love being here and the city is amazing and this outfit is perfect for shopping at the Rue Saint Ferréol or Rue Paradis, go sightseeing or just sitting in a coffeeshop. Go out there and get your little french on!

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Und schon wieder ist eine Woche vorbei. Hier ist mein erster Outfitpost aus Frankreich! Dafür wollte ich etwas speziell französisches machen und habe deshalb ein gestreiftes Shirt gewählt. Die Leute hier sagen, jede Frau aus Frankreich hätte eines in ihrem Schrank. Es gilt als traditionell, erwachsen und steht natürlich für das french chic! Ich würde sagen, man kann es zu allem tragen und mit allem kombinieren und sieht immer toll aus und hat diese Aura wie man hier sagt, das gewisse "Je ne sais quoi". Es ist eben typisch französisch und schick. J'adore! Aber da ich es nicht zu traditionell wollte, habe ich eine Croptop gewählt, das lockert das ganze ein wenig auf und es hat einfach super zu diesem wunderschönen Jeansrock von Pull & Bear gepasst. In meiner Heimatstadt in Deutschland haben wir diesen Laden leider nicht. Aber ,Gott sei Dank, habe ich hier gleich mehrere. Das bedeutet, dass ihr bestimmt noch mehr Teile von dort in meinen kommenden Blogposts sehen werdet. :) Meine geliebten Sneaker sind von Bershka, meine Sonnenbrille ist von Vogue Eyewear und meine Tasche habe ich auf einem Flohmarkt in Deutschland ergattert. 

Um noch ein typisches französisches Element zu meinem Outfit hinzuzufügen, habe ich meine Haare zu meinem Dutt gedreht. Bisland halte ich es für ein Gerücht, dass alle Französinnen einen Dutt tragen. Hier in Marseille habe ich fast noch keine gesehen. Aber vielleicht ist das eher ein Trend in Paris? 

Ich wollte euch diesem Alltagsoutfit ein bisschen für Frankreich inspirieren. Ich liebe es hier! Die Stadt ist wunderschön und das ganze Ambiente. Frankreich hat schon seinen ganz eigenen Charme. Ich hatte das Outfit zum shoppen in der Rue Saint Ferréol und der Rue Paradis an, aber es wäre auch perfekt zum Sightseeing oder um einfach einen Café in der Sonne zu genießen. Also meine Lieben geht raus and get your little french going!
